The Gift of Song
Iris Ilani was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. At the age of 8, she began to sing and write her own songs. She participated in the school choir from 7th-12th grade where she honed her skills in harmonies and music arrangement. In 2021, Iris started a Youtube Channel where she teaches viewers how to write songs like their favorite artists. The channel has began picking up momentum in anticipation for Iris' first EP "Made For You".
Made For You
Made For You is Iris Ilani's debut EP. "I wanted to create an EP reminiscent of the music from my childhood. A fun, sassy, pop & b project with substance. I wrote all 6 songs by myself because I wanted it to be authentic. Knowing that it's all my thoughts, ideas, and feelings; I hope people get to know me. I want my listeners to feel confident, sexy, and comfortable being that bitch. Even when people treat you like you aren't, remind them who TF you are every time! This EP was made for you.

The song originated from Iris' Youtube Channel where she taught viewers how to write a Renaissance (Beyonce) type song. The end result? A contagious retro - dance track.
